8 Weeks, Tuesday Night Wheel
Tuesday Night Wheel
We will We will guide you through the therapeutic journey of wheel throwing, and hand loding, teaching you our 6-step method for creating pottery on the wheel. If this is your first experience with clay, we usually recommend starting with hand building — but the wheel has its own kind of magic too ;)
In Week 7, we'll be offering make-up sessions, so you'll be able to attend a total of eight sessions.
By the end of the program, you’ll create multiple food-safe ceramic pieces and glaze them using a selection of coloured glazes. You may choose to focus on one larger project or several smaller ones — it’s completely up to your personal style and what you enjoy most.
Our Mindful Programs are designed for all skill levels. We share knowledge, support one another, and learn together in a welcoming environment free from judgment or competition. Our sessions are known for being relaxed, social, and inspiring.
Each term is carefully planned to introduce you to new techniques and different types of clay, allowing you to continue growing creatively at your own pace. Every individual progresses differently, and we fully support that journey.
All materials are included and we only use Australian-certified materials.
We are proud to be the only environmentally friendly studio using an ancient firing technique that creates food-safe, waterproof ceramics while reducing environmental impact — saving the planet one piece at a time.
Please note: social workers are required to purchase a separate ticket.
This program is perfect for beginners and returning students alike. If you’d like to explore larger forms, more complex designs, or improve your wheel-throwing precision and technique, our tutor will support you in developing and scaling your talent further.
