8-Week Pottery Program

2-Hour Weekly Classes

Hand-building and decoration classes for beginners, advanced to intermediate participants.

In this program, we teach hand-building techniques, pottery decoration, and glazing methods. These foundational skills are extremely valuable whether you choose to continue with hand building or move into pottery wheel throwing later on.

Using unique ancient Japanese-inspired techniques, you will learn how to create beautiful handmade shapes, vases, dinnerware, and decorative pieces that can only truly be achieved through hand building. Once your pieces are created, we will explore the world of pottery decoration and glazing, introducing underglazes, stains, colours, and creative finishing techniques.

This program is designed to provide a calming, relaxing, and supportive creative atmosphere where you can unwind while learning new skills and expressing your creativity.
